Monchelsea Place - History of a Sculpture

 Forty two core drilled holes later and I have my first portal cut through the stone. As much as I loved the solid form of the sculpture, I love how the window in the stone completely changes how you read the sculpture and best of all I finally see the realisation from model and drawings to the final realised sculpture.   

 

 

 The stones have been washed and the dust removed to revel the colours in the stone. The band of blue and beige really enhances the bottle form.
